Here is basic about sponsorin one or more students.
1. Sponsorship gives you personal connection with the student you support.
---You will be given detailed information about the student and his/her family.
---You are welcome to communicate with student directly (if you like). Your encouragement and advice could have very positive influence on the student.
---We collect a letter and a transcript annually and send them to you.
---You support the same student year after year until he/she doesn't need anymore or you choose not to continue.
2. Suggested annual donation:
---One elementary school student $80+ (600 Yuan RMB to the student on your behalf).
---One middle school student $100+ (800 Yuan RMB).
---One high school student $200+ (1200 Yuan RMB).
---One college student ($200-800 up to you if you continue to support the student).
3. Procedure.
If you are interested in sponsoring one or more students, please contact Professor Tonghai Yang at thyang63@gmail.com or thyang63@gmail.com. and let him know your intention and your preference if any, including which level, male or female, and/or academic achievement requirement, and so on. He will send you candidates' files. Once you decide to whom to sponsor, you can make your donation online or via mail (see below).
